So yes i think it was... on tuesday evening hahahah when i finally confirmed with py that we are celebrating for michael for his bday, that i went to facebook message his best friends! Yes i am pro enough to know who his best friends are lol one of them who is like a fan of michael's fb wall lol mr manfred! Yes and i was afraid that he wont notice the fb msg lol so i fb msged his other friend darren! Whom i think referred me to their other friend ervin. I told you that THREE (friends) was the magic number. xD
And yes seeing how sad our dear michael was... OH MAN i wanted to tell him HEY WE'RE MEETING YOU ON FRIDAY TO CELEBRATE YOUR BDAY MAN WOOHOOOO! x) though he kept saying that he wasnt
thattt sad... i've got evidences muahahahah!

But as py said, we'll all act like we forgot about his bday and since suwen is not around we'll all be lazy bummers to not plan for him and BX will continue stoning and not take the initiative hahahahah!
So yes the day has finally arrived!
Met up with yuanhao first outside bengawan to get the cake! :D i've got a very
bad feeling that we'll get the exact same cake as what i've got for my previous two planned surprises (for JBF and weiliang!) lol this particular chocolate-flavoured cake! But nonono we're a class of equal treatment LOL so we went to secret recipe and got him a new york cheese cake! Yuanhao chose it woohoooo hope it still taste as good after a few hours of knocking and shaking inside the cake box. xD
Then both me and yuanhao
sneakily went up to Earle's Swensens in T3 to see look where to hide! And our conclusion was... NO WHERE! The whole place was lined with glass glass glass and more glass, aka transparent and soooo not a good place for a surprise. Lol so we went to the opposite side near this other cafe (xin wang) and hid near the toilet area. x) we wrote the card there, and waited for the ahems
not late ppl hahahah!
In the mean time i was telling manfred to "walk slower!" and "stall time!" lol and yes what i heard from michael was that they went to tour arnd NTUC and bought nothing in the end. ZAI!
Then we decided to just... go inside Earle's Swensens first and surprise him from there. Lol michael's friend made a reservation there under idk whose name lol so i guess i would just try all his friend's name but surprisingly the waiter gave it away hahahah "uh hi we made a reservation!", "oh under manfred?", "OH YES." (: but ZOMGGG while we were at the entrance of the restaurant we saw the birthday boy ahhhhh!
Owells i guess it is still counted as a surprise. xD so we lighted the candle and sang him a birthday song in the pretty quiet swensens! YAYYYY success once again!

Then of cos its LUNCH!!! The set lunch comes with like free-flow salad from the salad bar hahah i'm not really a vegetable/salad person so i gave my portion to dione lol but it turned out that some dishes are quite appetising and nice! :D like this cold pasta thingy, and the cold crabstick, and the cold mushroom which tasted like hotels' 10 course meal appetiser, and this cold tofu that tasted like fridge-d yong tau foo... and some other interesting dish. (: i wont mind eating the salad there againnn! =D
Though other main dishes are more expensive as compared to their counterpart, Swensens. Hahah i think Earle's Swensens is just... idk similar but not so similar. xD so i called a lamb steak, which is totally AWESOME cos they cut it into cube shapes so no bones yayyy! Plus the meat was tender and the sauce was a very good complement!
Dione ordered a cottage pie and we shared! (: potato and minced beef awww... though we couldnt finish in the end and had to ask for jason's help lol!
Butterscotch flavoured ice cream was not bad toooo! Though i would totally call the banana and strawberry combo one. O.O i bet God create banana and strawberry tgt! They are like a match made in heaven hahahah!
Then we played games! Like I HAVE NEVER... Jason lost in the first round muahahahah cos i think he experienced and did too many things before alrdy. xD dione lost in the second round heh is this... Fate? xD LOL!
And then we played... Murderer/Polar Bear! And i killed the birthday boy OOPS he gave me the WHY-DID-YOU-KILL-ME-STARE when he knew the truth lol!
After that we... walked arnd the terminal and played this game! x) so FUN and there's prizes to be won zomg actually no one bothered about the booth and the game and everything, until we walked past and... "Hey you guys wanna play a game?" it was some... ball game. Hahahah like balls will start coming out of one long cylinder that is stuck one end to this ENORMOUS red spherical object in the middle of T3. x)

Only the orange ping pong balls with the changi airport sign on it will entitle you to a prize! There will be sweets and this thing called the magic towel too lol! So the prize was some OSIM vibrating pen hahahah we still cant figure out what's the vibrating part for lol maybe for us pathetic students who are plagued with long econs and geog essays during exams to massage and prevent cramps yes!
So yes after what seemed like a gazillion christmas songs while we station at the red capsule, those ikea balls and sweets and ping pong balls start coming out! FAST! And in the midst of all that confusion i managed to grab 2 out of the 3 orange ping pong balls hahahah i ZAI! ^^ then i gave one to py heh and she say she will give her dad as a christmas present lol!

Then we continued walking and saw this blown-up castle thing! Another game another game! xD they only stated the minimum age which is 8 years old, so yes we all can go play with the small small kids! xD but owells we didnt in the end, if not the whole castle would have collapsed or something ahems.
Found our way to the shuttle bus area which will bring us to the budget terminal! Hahahah first time being there, and its... NOT BAD i would say. (: there's a few check-in counters, Macs, Hanis, a bookstore... and this really cute departure entrance lol!
So the 6 of us queued with michael for the tiger airways check-in, which is superrrr long and omg confirm bored bored bored if you do not have company. xD and a funny thing happened in the queue hahaha cos this couple was in front of us, and i guess they were waiting for someone to check-in tgt so they let us go first. =) i think they think ALL 7 of us were checking in, so it'll take some time and their friend/relative would have arrived by then. So after michael's done and we walked away, she was like "WAHH SO FAST?". LOL!
We stoned at macs cos michael cant check in yet! O.o tskkk i bet there isnt enough space inside that departure hall thats why they dont allow passengers to check-in like 1 or 2 hours earlier to shop! But owells we facebook-ed at macs and saw the SDD's photos and the fb msges! x)
Until it was finally 6.05pm awww GROUP HUGGGG before sending dear michael off! Yes py the sadness of sending someone away into the departure hall is... awwwww hahah but thank God he's coming back! The rest were smart to leave first lol!
